General Terms and Conditions

This document outlines the terms and conditions governing the relationship between the client and Scuba Diver Javea, located at Calle Marsella SN, 03730 Javea, Alicante (Spain), with VAT number B19734086.

1. Participation in diving activities
Participation in any activity organized by Scuba Diver Javea implies full acceptance of these conditions. Scuba diving involves certain inherent risks; therefore, suitable physical and mental health is required. The client declares they are fit and capable of participating in such activities.

2. Liability and insurance
Scuba Diver Javea holds valid liability and accident insurance in accordance with current regulations. However, participants are strongly advised to have their own diving insurance. The company is not responsible for any accidents resulting from a client’s failure to follow safety rules.

3. Bookings and payments
Bookings must be confirmed by paying a deposit. The remaining balance must be paid before the activity begins. In the event of a cancellation by the client, the following charges will apply:

  • More than 7 days in advance: full refund
  • Between 7 and 2 days: 50% refund
  • Less than 48 hours: no refund

If the activity is canceled due to weather conditions or causes attributable to Scuba Diver Javea, the client will be offered a new date or a full refund.

4. Use of equipment
All equipment provided must be used responsibly. Any damage caused by misuse will be the responsibility of the client, who will be required to cover repair or replacement costs.

5. Training and certifications
Courses are conducted according to the standards of the relevant certifying agency (PADI, SSI, etc.). To receive certification, the student must complete all required theoretical and practical components. Scuba Diver Javea reserves the right to suspend a participant who fails to meet safety standards or behaves negligently.

6. Data protection
Personal data collected during booking or participation in activities will be processed in accordance with current data protection legislation. No data will be shared with third parties without the client’s explicit consent.

7. Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of this agreement shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Denia (Alicante), expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that might apply.
